Flooding at Forsinard cancels Caithness train services

ScotRail have tweeted flood damage at Forsinard.

FLOODING in Caithness and north Sutherland has resulted in train services in the region being cancelled.

ScotRail have reported flood damage between Altnabreac and Forsinard has resulted in train services between Inverness and Wick being affected.

ScotRail have announced the 18:28 Inverness - Wick service will terminate at Helmsdale.

It said alternative transport has been requested but not yet confirmed.
