A Highland business has secured a four-year advertising and sponsorship contract with the local authority.

Highland News and Media will continue to work in partnership with Highland Council to utilise the local authority’s advertising opportunities. This will allow other organisations to showcase themselves to a wide audience.

Chair of the communities and place committee, councillor Graham MacKenzie said: “Highland Council are delighted to be continuing to work in partnership with Highland News Media on advertising and sponsorship.

“There are many exciting, innovative opportunities for advertising and sponsorship which will be made available over the next four years, and we look forward to these being offered across the Highlands.

“Working together we hope to ensure current and new sponsors and advertisers will see great benefits to their organisations by utilising the various methods available to them. “

Louise Ross, commercial manager at Highland News and Media added: “We're very pleased that our long-term partnership with Highland Council is continuing for a further four years.

“Highland Council's advertising assets are a valuable addition to our portfolio of digital and print platforms. And we know that they deliver excellent results for businesses across the Highlands.”
