Around 12 hardy individuals met up early this morning to celebrate the longest day with a sunrise swim at the North Baths in Wick.

The local swimmers met just before 4am for the first of two solstice dips at the recently renovated outdoor pool. Members of the new KW1 Swimmers – Kool Water Sw1mmers group also took part in a sunrise swim at Dunnet beach this morning.

Sunset dips are set to go ahead at the North Baths at 10.15pm and Dunnet at 10.10pm this evening.
