BREAKING: Collision near Helmsdale prompts road restriction of A9

The A9 is currently restricted near Helmsdale after a collision, according to Traffic Scotland.

The road is currently restricted northbound after a road traffic incident took place before 12.20pm.

Road users are advised to use caution on approach and expect longer than normal travel times.

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
