Glasgow pair deny chasing teens in Thurso with weapons

Two Glasgow men have been accused of chasing two teenagers along the harbour, esplanade and beach at Thurso last summer while armed.
Warren Wallis (35), of Westburn Street, and 27-year-old Kyle Miller, of Manscroft Place, pleaded not guilty to a charge of having behaved in a threatening or abusive manner. Wallis also denies possession of an offensive weapon, a crowbar.
Miller, who belongs to Wick, denied an additional charge of assaulting one of the lads by holding a knife against his neck and repeatedly punching him and being in possession of a weapon.
The incidents are said to have taken place on July 14, last year, Wick Sheriff Court was told on Wednesday.
The trial of both men was fixed for May 13.
