Lyth horse trainer is living the dream with her Lusitano Legends Display Team
Lyth-based model and horse trainer Natalie Oag says it is “a dream come true” to be holding special horse displays around the country.
Along with her team of five equines, Natalie has launched the Lusitano Legends Display Team – three of which are rescue horses.
“It’s a dream come true,” says Natalie.
One of the spectators at a recent event commented: ”The audience, from young to old, really enjoyed it and said the bond Natalie has with the horses is unbelievable. The horses love her as much as she loves them.”
Natalie is one of the first horse artist/trick trainers in Scotland and said that her journey towards this new skill started years ago when she was taking a specialist training exam called BHSI after passing her BHSII.
“I was away from home and offered this photo shoot abroad which I accepted at the last minute and cut short the course.

“The photo shoot was with movie horses and led to me working with a stunning stallion – the trainer said I had a natural gift with him.
“So this led to other opportunities and before I knew it I was doing displays and delighted to be awarded the equine trick trainer title.”
Natalie says she is now taking her special horse displays on tours around the country and is available for bookings.
