Four people have been arrested over a disturbance in Glasgow.

Emergency services attended and the man, 49, and woman, 48, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Another man, 76, was traced at a property on Blantyre Street, where the disturbance was reported, and was later arrested.

On Wednesday, police said the injured pair have also now been arrested, as has a 48-year-old man.

All four have been charged in connection with serious assault.

The 48-year-old man was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Roads were closed on Tuesday between Bunhouse Road and Sauchiehall Street, but have since reopened.

Officers remain in the area while inquiries are ongoing.

Police have asked anyone with information to come forward.
