Brandon McPhee brings some Christmas cheer to Thurso care home residents





Residents and guests at Pentland View care home in Thurso enjoyed a live music performance from Brandon McPhee.

Brandon performed a selection of classic hits, and played both the accordion and guitar.

Residents joined in with the singing, and clapped along as he performed classic Scottish tunes, as well as Christmas favourites.

Resident Will Menzies said: “It was wonderful! I’ve been a fan of Brandon since he was a boy.”

Staff and some residents also took to their feet and had a good dance, with visiting children also joining in on the fun.

Pentland View care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers. Pentland View provides residential care, nursing care and dementia care for 47 residents from respite care to long-term stays.
