Ninety members, helpers and carers gathered at the Royal British Legion club in Thurso as the Caithness branch of Enable held a Valentine's buffet dance for the first time in three years.
Saturday's function was hailed as a great success, with practically non-stop music from local five-piece band Doon Major.
Willie Mackay, Caithness branch chairman of the charity for people with learning disabilities, said: "The hall was buzzing right from the start.
"Our members filled the floor at every dance, much to the delight of the band. It was wonderful to see everyone together once again."
The last Enable Valentine's buffet dance in Caithness had taken place in the Weigh Inn, Thurso, in February 2020, a month before Covid restrictions began.

Mr Mackay added: "We have a management committee of 12 who are all there for the cause of enhancing the lives of our learning disabled members.
"As a charity providing a year-round programme of events, outings and activities, we receive no core funding from local authorities, government bodies, social services or NHS. All our funding is through fundraising events run by ourselves, and even more precious to us are the donations we receive from the general public.
"There is always a wonderful turnout of learning disabled members, helpers and carers at our events and they certainly do enjoy themselves."
