Presentation for Forss farming brothers at festive treat

A presentation has been made to brothers Bill and Jimmy Manson in recognition of the huge contribution they have made to the Forss community.

It took place as Forss Hall Committee treated senior citizens from the area to a Christmas meal in Thurso's Pentland Hotel.

Bill and Jimmy recently retired from farming and moved to Thurso,

Alan Mackay gave a humorous account of their lifetime spent in Skaill. Jimmy Chambers, a lifetime friend and neighbour, presented Bill and Jimmy with Frank Begg prints of Forss Mill.

Musical entertainment was provided by three-time Scottish accordion champion Alan Small, who was visiting the county.
