Quoybrae mart on the telly

QUOYBRAE is included in a new television documentary which will be looking at the day-to-day running of the biggest agricultural mart in Scotland.

Aberdeen and Northern Marts (ANM) has given the BBC exclusive access to the Thainstone Centre in Inverurie for its documentary The Mart.

The Caithness Livestock Centre at Quoybrae, part of the ANM group, will also feature on the show which will be broadcast over the next six weeks,

The fly-on-the-wall documentary follows the auctioneers and staff teams – as well as buyers and sellers – as livestock is drawn from all over the UK for auction days and shows and sales.

The Mart starts on Monday on BBC One Scotland at 7.30pm.
