Road accident on A9 at Borgue

Traffic Scotland highlighted a vehicle accident on the A9 at Borgue close to Berriedale today (January 4) at around 10am.

The bulletin stated: "The A9 at Borgue is currently restricted in both directions due to a road traffic incident. Motorists are advised to use caution on approach."

The accident was first noted at 10.03am and stated it occurred at Borgue. Northbound and southbound traffic has been affected on the A9 Newport stretch to the A99 at Latheron.

Motorists should expect longer than normal journey times.
