Thurso care home welcomes Megyn as new manager





Staff at Barchester Healthcare’s Pentland View care home in Thurso have welcomed a new general manager to head up the team.

Megyn Todd will oversee the running of the 47-bed home and will be responsible for the homes team. Megyn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, according to Barchester, which runs the home.

Megyn is passionate about ensuring all of the residents receive the best possible care and experience and support for those living with dementia.

She said: “I am delighted to join the team here at Pentland View and am enjoying meeting and getting to know our residents. I’m looking forward to managing this home and continuing to provide high-quality care.”

Pentland View is one of over 200 care homes owned by Barchester Healthcare that offers care to its local communities. The home regularly holds events and activities for its residents and surrounding neighbours.

Wendy McGowan, the regional operations director for Pentland View, said: “I am pleased to welcome this addition to the team here at Pentland View. We are committed to providing high-quality care and I really think Megyn will be a big hit with our residents.”
