Julie shared her story with yojngsters about the beauty of Sri Lanka – the country she was visiting at the time - her experience of being woken up by the noise of the tsunami and the kindness of the local people in Mirissa village who helped her and her partner, Steve, to safety, providing them with food and water in the aftermath.

The children asked lots of questions and were very grateful to Julie for sharing her experiences with them.
