MUD wasn't the only thing three young farmers were covered in at Caithness County Show.....

Andrew Gunn, Andrew Mackay and Graeme Mackay received the most votes in the Caithness District Young Farmers Gunge Tank fundraising challenge at Wick on Saturday.

Spectactors looked on as the unlucky trio were forced to sit and be drenched in barrels of unpleasant gunge.

The trio didn't appear to mind being chosen and thanked the public by running into the crowd and even gave some of the voters a big messy hug.

All the results and reaction from Caithness County Show in Wednesday's Caithness Courier.
