Anderson finishes first in Wick 10-mile time trial

After a season off, Stuart Anderson returned to take first place in Wick Wheelers’ opening 10-mile time trial of 2025.

On a cool, dry and relatively still evening, an encouraging nine riders took part, including four ladies.

Jennifer Scott, in her first time trial in almost 10 years, led the ladies, beating Lisa Coghill by 11 seconds. Stephanie McNeil got the better of Mhairi Ross for third lady.

Among the men, Danny Miller finished second behind Anderson. Both were well clear of James Munro, Charlie Mackay and George Ewing who finished third, fourth and fifth respectively.

Caithness Cycling Club’s first “10” is next Tuesday.
